The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Fistral Beach Events 2014: Boardmasters, August 2014, Newquay
Boardmasters is a mostly music festival, alongside a surfing competition, that is held across two venues, Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay, from 6-10 August 2014. A shuttle bus will be operating between Newquay town centre and Watergate Bay, a distance of over 4 miles, at a cost of £3 return.
Newquay Surfing
Tickets cost from £39 for one day. Parking costs from £5/day, pre-booked. Campervan parking £29 for the weekend.
The pricing is complex and prices go up closer to the event date.
There are different events on each day, but across the whole week there is an International surf competition, lots of beach session gigs, surf art, photography, films, decks, BMX, a beach bar and BBQ, after parties and more.

Weekly Table Top Sale, St Columb Minor, St Columb Minor
A table top sale will be held every Sunday morning at St Columb Minor Memorial Hall.
Times: 08:30 – 12:00
While these sales are regularly held, it is always possible that any event can be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
