The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Polo on the Beach 2017, Newquay
Polo on the Beach is back at Watergate Bay, Newquay, Cornwall in May 2017. 
There was no Polo on the Beach in 2016. Â This is a free event to watch on the beach.
Dates: 19-21 May 2017
Mitchell Car Boot Sales, Saturdays, 2017,
Mitchell Car Boot Sales are held at Trethvas Farm on Saturdays from 12 noon. 
These car boot sales are organised by Cornwall Car Boots and not by Trethvas Farm, who only rent the field for the car boot sales.
Polo on the Beach 2017 at Watergate Bay, Newquay
Polo on the Beach is back after a year off, with 3 days at Watergate Bay. 
Friday 19 May to Sunday 21 May 2017.  Polo events on the beach, with lots of entertainment too, as well as food/drink. Family fun.
Free to attend and watch.
Additional Beach Party on the Saturday night (£25 entry).
