Haven Sands have one holiday park near Newquay, Perran Sands nestled in the sand dunes at Perranporth. As well as a huge choice of holiday caravans, Perran Sands also has Safari Tents, Geo Domes, Yurts and Super Tents available for hire – just turn up and book in, you don’t have to erect a tent with these great glamping options. They sleep up to six and come with bunk beds, fresh linen, and a small but perfectly formed kitchen – this is luxury camping without any damp.

Already assembled for you and ready to go, supertents have electric lighting plus one electric outlet, free calor gas for cooking on the two ring gas burner, fridge, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.

Safari Tents

The Haven Sands Safari tents are African-inspired – they have a wide wooden veranda where you can relax in the shade and come fully equipped with beds, tables, chairs and kitchen facilities including a cooker, fridge and all the necessary utensils.

Yurts

Yurts are wooden rounded, secure, tents covered in canvas. Yurts are ready to go and equipped with a double-burner cooker with grill, cutlery & crockery, fridge with freezer compartment. There are only four Yurts available, so they get booked quite early. Yurts at Perran Sands sleep 4, 6 and 8 people.

Geo Domes

These are the newest style of holiday accommodation available at Perran Sands, Newquay. Geo domes have thee parts: one 5.5 metre diameter living dome and two (3m diameter each) sleeping domes attached. These have one complete clear panel so you can see the views. The main Geo dome provides space for a sofa and seating, cooking facilities and equipment, while the two smaller domes space for a double bed and twin beds. The Geo domes were designed exclusively for Perran Sands.

Caravans and Adapted Caravans

Haven Holidays at Perran Sands have all the usual holiday caravans, as well as some adapted caravans. With a huge variety of sizes and layouts, there’s one that’ll suit your needs. Seven basic models are available, from Standard through to Platiunum, which are at least 12′ wide and stylishly designed with super-mod cons.

This caravan park is nestled in the sand dunes at Perranporth, 6 miles west of Newquay. Postcode, for sat nav, is TR6 0AQ. The site is self-contained, with no significant neighbours.
The site is located right next to Perranporth Golf Club – which affords magnificent Ocean views if you love playing golf with a view.

The site is atop a steep hill, without lighting or pavements – and at the bottom of the hill is the small town of Perranporth, giving access to local shops, butchers, papershops, a Post Office, pubs, takeaways, supermarkets (the Co-Op), a Costcutter store, restaurants and several banks.

Go in the other direction 2.5 miles, along a couple of narrow Cornish lanes you’re at the Smugglers Den pub, Trebellan, Cubert – an old thatched inn. Further along is the village of Cubert, with the sandy beach of Holywell Bay at the bottom of the hill as well as the Treguth Inn, a 13th century thatched pub just before the bottom of the hill.

For carvery meals, go inland just 1.5 miles to the New Inn at Goonhavern, where you’ll also find a great garden centre and fresh veg shop round the corner.

Haven Sands at Newquay brings you into the heart of the north Cornish coastline, where the air is fresh and the sand’s soft…. and while you’re on the sand, check out the great beach bar/restaurant The Watering Hole – nestling at the back of the beach with the striped tent-like roof.
