Man Injured in Newquay Cliff Plunge

A holidaymaker, aged 26 sustained head injuries in a 60′ (18m) fall from the cliffs at Towan Beach at 4.30am. 999 Police Coastguard Newquay

The alarm was raised and Falmouth coastguards coordinated with Newquay coastguard rescue team and the Newquay inshore lifeboat crew.

Luckily, the man does not seem to have any life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Treliske Hospital, Truro.
