Mayor urges ‘leap of faith’ over bus station purchase

Newquay’s Mayor has asked locals to take a “leap of faith” and support the Town Council’s plans to buy the old bus station site, beside Killacourt.

Andy Hannan said it was up to residents if they wanted to foot the bill, believed to be around £650,000, but Councillors pointed out the benefits of having a site owned by the people of Newquay that could be used how they wished for future projects and developments.
