Newquay Airport in major deal with helicopter firm

Over 20 jobs have been created at Newquay Cornwall Airport in a major deal with a helicopter firm.

British International Helicopters, which already transfers passengers to the Isles of Scilly, has set up a new aircraft engineering centre at the airport.

The company’s decision to move to the airport follows news earlier in the year that global helicopter giant Agusta Westland was setting up operations there, bringing with it 30 jobs.
