Robbery at Newquay Nat West Bank

At about 1700 hours on Tuesday 25th June 2013 a robbery was committed at the Newquay Branch of the Nat West Bank, 13 Bank Street, Newquay.

A male entered the bank, walked up to the cashier till and made a demand for money.  After being handed a quantity of cash the male walked back out of the premises and onto Bank Street.  It is believed this male then ran up an alleyway at the side of Peacocks towards Manor Road.

Do You Know This Man?

The male is described as a white male, spotty complexion, 5’8 tall, medium build aged 20 -30. At the time he was wearing a dark coloured jacket, with a white motif on the left chest area, dark coloured trousers, dark coloured trainers with white stripes on the side and a beige coloured baseball cap. The male was carrying a 2 handled squared woven bag with green writing on.

Police have released an early image of this male and are requesting any information from the public that may identify this person, or wish to hear from anyone who saw a male matching this description in the area at that time.
