Quiksilver European King of the Groms and Pro Junior Final 2011 – Newquay’s Fistral Beach will play host to the Quiksilver European King of the Groms final and the 4* ASP Quiksilver Pro Junior event – the last in the series of 4 European stops this August Bank Holiday 25th -29th August. The event will also see international surfing, music and other activities throughout the long weekend.

Harbour Sports Day, Newquay Harbour:  Come and join the Family Fun at Newquay Harbour for the Annual Sports Day on August 27. Water sports galore as local athletes compete to achieve medals and recognition in all forms of trails and competitions.

Camelford Town Band at the Killacourt: Camelford Town Band are scheduled to perform at the Killacourt on Sunday 28th August 2011. Supported by Newquay Town Council this free to attend event is part of the Summer Concerts Season and is due to start at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy beautiful, relaxing music in an equally conducive setting.

Paulo’s Circus Americano in town until September 4! : Cornwall’s favourite circus is back in Newquay with an all new show for 2011 featuring Wheel Of Death, High Wire, Stunt BMX, Aerial Silks, The Moonwalk, Patchy & Pepito and many more. Parking is free and show times are:
•Weekdays – 5.30pm & 8pm
•Saturdays – 8pm Only
•Sundays – 2pm & 5pm
