Across Devon & Cornwall, the police force budget cuts will be forcing a lot of police station front desks to close. Newquay’s police station is quite a major one and it’s front desk will be remaining open.
Those police stations where front desks are to be closed will be fitted with a new, effective, telephone system and for those who do need to speak with a policeman they can make an appointment.

Newquay police station is alongside Newquay Railway Station – in the corner of the pay and display car park, on the opposite side of the railway lines to where Asda is.
