Killed Newquay biker named as Francis Rhodes
Following a two-vehicle road collision a Newquay biker who died on Monday morning has been
named as Francis Rhodes.
Emergency
vehicles attended the scene involving a Yamaha motor cycle and a black Audi motor vehicle on the main 3059 road between Newquay and St Mawgan.
Francis Rhodes was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The female driver of
the Audi vehicle was taken to hospital but was released after treatment for shock.
The road was closed for over nine hours, while police investigated the circumstances
of the collision.
