The 2013 annual barefoot event, now in its third year, will be kicking off on Tolcarne Beach, Newquay at 3pm on Friday May 17 2013. Up to 30 companies from across Cornwall will be coming together to compete in a series of fun and light-hearted beach-based games.
The Cornwall Beach Games, co-organised by Cornwall Sports Partnership, the NHS Healthy Workplace Programme and Cornwall College, gives Cornish companies the chance to have some active fun outdoors with their fellow colleagues while networking with other businesses.
Activities involved in the last two years have included Volleyball, Beach Football, Handball, Tug of War, Surf Rescue and the famous Sand Castle competition. The games are suitable for all ages, with no previous experience required and all equipment is provided.
A minimum of eight team members are required for the activities, of which at least two must be female. If you are a small organisation and don’t have eight team members, Cornwall Sports Partnership will help matching you with another small organisation to create a team.
Cost: £80 per team.
