The police have confirmed that the body recovered from the Headland area of North Fistral Beach area last Thursday is that of missing Newquay man Mark Neville.
Mark Neville went missing from his home on 3 February and his car was later found in the car park on Pentire Headland. An extensive sea search at the time failed to find him.
Mark is well known, liked and respected within the local and international surfing community, where he is known as a top surfboard shaper, shaping boards for top surfers and being named as the “UK’s Best Longboard Shaper” in a “Shaper’s Poll” in 2009.
