Auditions for extras in Doc Martin are being held in advance of filming the next new series of Doc Martin in Port Isaac. Production company Buffalo Pictures need up to 200 extras in total, people of all ages, sizes and shapes – and they even need a baby to play the part of Doc Martin’s new son.
The Doc Martin Auditions for 2015 will be held on two days this coming weekend:
- Saturday 7 March: Casting for adults and children only.
- Sunday 8 March: Casting for a baby to play Doc Martin’s new son.
What Happens at Casting Sessions?
You can expect to fill in a form with your details – and they’ll take a photo. Due to the huge volume of people expected that’ll be it. As an extra you’d just be walking past, or sitting in the background, so, for most people, they don’t need to test any acting ability you might/not have.
Location: The casting sessions will be in the Church Hall at Port Isaac, near Wadebridge, Cornwall.
