The Newquay 2016 Joe Way Paddle for Life event is at Newquay Harbour on Thursday 23 June 2016, starting at 4pm and running until late.  This is an annual event enabling fundraising for many charities.

The event is free to watch, but there are entry fees to take part: £10/adult and £5/under 18. Entry fees to be paid on the day. All participants receive a certificate with your paddle wrist band. Age limits apply.

The event starts at 4pm. Last registration is when the wrist bands have gone or at 6pm. Final heat time in the water is 6.30pm. Lifeguard race is just after 7.00pm. First come, first served – there are limits on numbers, so arrive early.

To watch and listen to the live music is free.
FREE – Sunset Live Music Session on the Harbour beach stage and in the Rowing Club. Bring your blanket and chill out.

Music starts at 5pm

  • Harbour Quayside: The Steelers, 5-6pm. A 20-piece Steel Band.
  • Harbour Stage: Jamie Gifford, 6-7pm. Emma Chamberlain, 7-8pm. Both acoustic guitarists.
  • Newquay Rowing Club: Ten Bob Notes, 8pm until late. A 10-piece SKA Band.
