The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home.
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.

Newquay Fire Cadets (£), Newquay
Newquay Fire Cadets welcomes new recruits aged 12-14 who would like to take part in the Newquay Fire Cadet Scheme, running each Monday evening from 6.30-8.30pm (except bank and school holidays)
As a Newquay Fire Cadet, you will work towards an Award Certificate, which could help you in later life, as well as picking up life skills and teamwork along the way - and make some great new friends.
If you wish to join the Newquay Fire Cadets, simply go to Newquay fire station any Monday night at 6:30pm, during term time.

The competition starts at 1pm, and winners for the furthest flung pasty will receive a tasty box of pasties!
