NT Coastal Challenge Series #2 Crantock and Holywell 2016
Date: Thursday 16 Jun 2016. Starts: 7PM. Ends: 9PM.
Location: Crantock, Newquay
Details of Event:
In this second of five social running evenings at different locations in North Cornwall between May and September, the NT Coastal Challenge gives you a 5k or 10k option on Thursday 16 June 2016.
This is a fundraising event to raise money for the National Trust to maintain the coast. You will be running for 40-80 minutes, making the most of the light summer evenings. Running speed is set to accommodate everyone’s ability and the group leader will try to keep the group together at a sensible pace. All welcome to run, but bear in mind the coastal footpath is steep, uneven and often overlooking some steep cliffs! Runners under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, no dogs!
Afterwards: An optional celebratory drink at a local pub.
Bring: Running kit (trail shoes recommended), water, money for afterwards, warm clothes
Cost: £2 per runner. Booking essential.
More: For more details and to find out if the event is suitable for you, contact Tom on 01208 863821 or email tom.sparkes@nationaltrust.org.uk
Notes: You should always check with the organisers before making any plans related to an event. These event details are published in good faith but NO responsibility can be taken for errors or event cancellations. The map is provided as a guide, sometimes technology isn't as perfect as we'd like and you should allow a margin of error for its moody days. E&OE |
