The popular visitor attraction Lappa Valley Railway has a vacancy for a full-time seasonal catering and food prep person to support the Catering Manager.

This is a summer job in Newquay as the railway only opens during the summer months, covering the summer season of 2015, providing a family-friendly steam-train based theme park, with woodland walks, train rides and food.
The job is over five days a week, including weekends, on a rota basis.
Duties Include: Working as a member of the Lappa Valley Catering Team; assisting with hot and cold food preparation; taking food and drink orders and passing orders to the kitchen; ensuring that all food and drink is paid for; ensuring all transactions are recorded through the cash register; ensuring that catering areas are kept clean and tables are cleared; checking drink dispensers and other take away food/drink items and topping up as required; answering customers’ questions as requested; any other duties as reasonably requested by the Catering Manager.
You will probably need your own transport due to the location of Lappa Valley, close to Newlyn East.
Rate of Pay: National Minimum Wage, currently £5.13-£6.50/hour.
