It’s difficult to believe, as Cornish Goodies has been part of the Newquay landscape forever it seems, but Cornish Goodies is closing down – and right now they have some big bargains in their shop opposite Newquay Main Post Office.
Cornish Goodies has always been a great place to pick up fudge and scented candles, as well as some really quirky items. It was always a great place to amble through at Xmas time to look for a really unusual gift for somebody that was difficult to buy for.
Well, no more – this is your last chance to pick up those things.
Note: The new shop in place of Cornish Goodies, Newquay, is very similar, but with a slightly updated look – so it’s worth popping down to where Cornish Goodies used to be (opposite the Victoria Hotel) if you’re browsing for gifts for friends.
UPDATE: Cornish Goodies Ltd was finally liquidated and dissolved via compulsory strike-off in October 2012.
