The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home.
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Weekly Table Top Sale, St Columb Minor, St Columb Minor
On Sunday mornings there is an indoor table top sale at St Columb Minor Memorial Hall.
Stalls, local produce/food to buy – and refreshments.
Times: 8:15am – 12 noon

While these sales are regularly held, it is always possible that any event can be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, so always check if you’re travelling far.

Newquay RNLI Lifeboat Day 2017, Newquay
The annual Newquay RNLI Lifeboat Day will be held on Sunday 20 August 2017. This is a free event with lots of demonstrations and rescues by the RNLI team using a variety of boats.
At 3pm the Coastguard helicopter is expected to make an appearance.
Stalls, entertainment, live music, food, local produce and lots to see. This event raises essential funds for the RNLI which is a charity

Paulo's Circus Newquay 2017, Newquay
Paulo’s Circus have been operating for more than 200 years and you can visit the Circus in Newquay from Thursday 13 July 2017 to Saturday 2 September 2017.
All seats £7/person.  Discounts and vouchers can be found in local newspapers, in some local shops (Morrisons have some) and on their Facebook page.
On-site parking. Performances daily. Â Comfortable seating and heating
Circus Shows last 1 hour 15 minutes, with no interval.
