Youth nights are for ages 13-19. The Newquay Surf Life Saving Club hours are seasonal, meeting on Mondays 6.15pm-7.45pm in the summer and 8pm-9pm in winter.

The Newquay Surf Life Saving Club has a large membership, who get to take part in a variety of events and activities, as well as the opportunity to win Awards.

Youth members are taught surf safety, basic lifesaving skills and surf and beach sports (wading, surf swimming, board-paddling, beach flags, beach sprints and relays).

The emphasis is on fun in a friendly environment.

The Surf Life Saving Club also run lifesaving training sessions in the swimming pool at Newquay’s Waterworld.

There are also many race events and social events throughout the year, in a variety of locations across Cornwall.

The Surf Life Saving Club have a new Clubhouse from 2013 too on Fistral Beach.
