Date: Monday 2 May 2016. Starts: 12AM. Ends: 12AM.

Location: ,

Details of Event:

This year, as 1 May is on a Sunday, Padstow’s famous Obby Oss May Day celebrations will be held on Monday 2 May.  It’s always on 1 May, unless 1 May is a Sunday, which it is this year.

There’s something happening somewhere in town throughout the day, indeed, the locals start with the first processions at about 7am!  Drinking, eating, singing and following the Osses occurs throughout the day until late into the night.

Lots of local food and drink to enjoy, but you’ll struggle to get a sit down table for lunch due to the sheer volume of visitors.  Over 30,000 people are expected.

Location: Throughout Padstow, centred in the streets close to the Harbour area.
Time: All day
Parking: Park outside the town as the town’s full of people and processions.
Park & Ride: There’s a park and ride running at PL28 8EX.  The car park’s open from 10am to 10pm, with the bus running from 10.30am to 6pm. Expect to pay about £4 per car to use this.
