Seven arrested in Newquay in connection with London murder

Police have arrested seven people at a Newquay hotel in connection with the murder of a man in London.

John Lee Hook was found dead in a car in Harrow last week. He had a gunshot wound and died in hospital six days later, on Wednesday.

Mr Hook, who had recently become a father and lived in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, was found with a single bullet wound to the head inside a blue VW Golf and taken to hospital.

Update: Their trial started at the Old Bailey in October 2011. Mr Hook was not the intended victim, but caught in a drive by shooting. The three men, Tyrone Starkie of Harrow, Ashley Morgan, and Micah Lewis, were jailed for 32 years, 18 years and 12 years.
