Police have confirmed that the body found on a Newquay beach last week was that of missing local man Mark Neville.
Mr Neville, 45, has been missing since 4 February, when he was last seen leaving his home. Mr Neville’s car was later found at Pentire Headland and the Coastguard was scrambled to help search the coastal area.
Mark Neville’s body was finally found at Fistral Beach last Thursday, by a member of the public, who alerted the police.
Fistral Beach was closed for the rest of the day.
