Tucked away in the centre of town is Newquay Conservative Club, with small on-site car park. The Seahorse Restaurant is open lunchtimes Tuesday to Sunday. 3 course meals for £7. Entertainment on Saturday nights. Hall for hire, for weddings and parties etc.

The Newquay Ladies' Lifeboat Guild organise fundraising events for the RNLI. Based at the Lifeboat Station building at Newquay Harbour.
If you want to help to join the Guild and help to raise funds for the RNLI, or to donate goods, pop in to the Lifeboat Station next time you're passing and make enquiries.
The Guild has been continuously operating since 1966, although it did operate prior to this date with some gaps.
Newquay model boat club operates at Trenance Boating Lake. Members with boats of any size are welcome, although noisy/oily boats are discouraged. Typically members have 1m boats.
One-Metre sailing/racing takes place on Sunday mornings at 10am and often on Tuesday mornings. To join the club phone or email, or just turn up at the lake and chat to members with boats. There is an Annual Regatta too, often in July as part of Newquay Carnival Week.
