The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Allo Allo - Theatre Performance at Lane Theatre, Newquay (£), Newquay
Newquay Dramatic Society are putting on a performance of Allo Allo, by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd; the Director is Lynne Young.
Running for just one week, from Monday to Saturday, the curtain goes up at 8pm prompt, so make sure you’ve plenty of time to arrive and get settled.
Kernowkopia Spiritual Weekend, Porth, Newquay
Kernowkopia is a varied Spiritual, Mind and Body event spanning four days.
There are over 60 stalls, crafts, healers, readers, books and workshops (workshops are on Monday 29 November only), as well as concerts, free music, dance, drumming and healing demonstrations. There’ll be over 80 talks too.

Newquay Xmas Lights Switch On 2010
This year it’s Olympic, World and British swimming record holders from Newquay Cormorants Swimming Club who will be flicking the switch and turning the Newquay Xmas lights on. Jonathon Fox, Ben Procter and Matt Whorwood will do the honours, assisted by Newquay Town Mayor, Mrs Jill Bunt.
