The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Newquay Business Breakfast Club (£), Newquay
The Newquay Business Breakfast Club is held early every Friday morning at the Lewinnick Lodge, Pentire Headland, Newquay. Running from 7.30-9am, it gives business owners the perfect opportunity to meet with other local business owners over an enjoyable breakfast. Ideal for business networking opportunities!

While the event is well attended, you should always check prior to arriving that the Newquay Business Breakfast Club is running on the day you want to attend. All business owners are welcome.
South Fistral Beach Cleanup , Newquay
On the last Saturday of the month, there’s a beach cleanup. Everybody welcome.
Start Point: Bodhi’s Café, South Fistral Beach
Start Time: 10:00
End Time: 11:15
Beach cleaning kit is handed out to volunteers. Children/dogs welcome.

If you’re not a regular, it’s best to give him a bell before you leave home, just in case something’s changed at the last minute.
Santa's Grotto, Trenance Cottages, Xmas 2011 (£), Newquay
Santa is at Trenance Cottages, Trenance Gardens, on two weekends. On 26/27 November and 3/4 December.
Join in the festive fun and meet Santa in the specially prepared Santa’s Grotto in the grounds of Trenance Cottages.
Free parking has been organised across the road in the Tennis/Swimming car parks.
Entry is £3/child (to include a present) and £1/adult.
Enjoy refreshments as well as craft-making and face painting.
Organised by the Friends of Trenance Cottages.
Happy Christmas Shirley, Lane Theatre Production (£), Newquay
“Happy Christmas Shirley” by Louise Roche, directed by Susie Bundy, runs at Lane Theatre, Newquay every day from Tuesday 22nd to Saturday 26th November 2011
and again from Tuesday 29th to Saturday 3rd December 2011.
