The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Festive Celebration Weekend, Newquay
Enjoy this special Festive event, on Saturday/Sunday 10-11th December at Newquay Zoo.
Take a festive Elf Tour of Newquay Zoo and see all of the animals and take your little ones to meet Santa in his Grotto (for an extra £4 they can receive a present!). Learn about Christmas past and present on the special self-guided trail, where you can find out about traditions old and new that help to make up our modern Christmas.
Indulge yourself at the Café Lemur with their amazing festive menu, before listening to some fascinating Zoo Keeper talks and enjoying animal encounters with your favourite species.

Newquay Zoo Carol Service and Lantern Walk (£), Newquay
Newquay Zoo carol service commences at 3.30pm and, new for this year, join the Christmas Elves in their special Lantern Walk of the zoo which starts right after the carol service.
After the Lantern Walk, enjoy a delicious, warming, bowl of home made soup and mince pies at the Café Lemur.
