The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Fistral Beach Clean 2014, Newquay
What better way to spend a blustery November day than on a beach litter picking!
Keep Britain Tidy have joined forces with Cornwall Council, South West Water, The Environment Agency and Visit Cornwall and beach clean volunteers are invited to the regularly, monthly, beach clean up on Fistral Beach.
Volunteers meet up at Bodhi’s Cafe, the shack/cafe half way down the steps to South Fistral at 10am, starting at 10:15am. The monthly beach clean is held on the last Saturday of each month.

Newquay Christmas Market, Newquay, United Kingdom
There will be a 3 day Newquay Christmas Market held in the car park on Fore Street, next to Sailors and above the bowling green.
Running for three days, from Friday 28 November to Sunday 30 November, the car park in Fore Street will host a covered crafts and food market from 10am to 5pm each day – and late night shopping on Friday 28 November until 8pm to coincide with the annual Children’s Lantern Procession and late night shopping in Newquay that evening as part of the Festive Launch weekend.
Newquay Christmas Ale and Music Festival, Newquay, United Kingdom
Live music and local ales! Newquay’s family-friendly Ale and Music Festival is being held in Fore Street Car Park, next to Sailors and above the bowling green. As part of the 3-day Newquay Christmas Festival, running from Friday 28 November to Sunday 30 November, there is also a craft and food market alongside.
A large marquee will provide breathtaking views over Newquay Bay.
The Newquay Christmas Ale and Music Festival opens at 11am each day, with live music, award-winning real ales, food and various children’s activities.
