The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home.
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.

This is a 3-day event at Fistral Beach, Newquay

Charity Cake Event: Help Izzy Walk, 5 June, Newquay
Fistral Beach Bar are hosting a Charity Cake Event in support in aid of Help Izzy Walk.
Homemade cakes, made with Trewithen butter and cream, as well as a range of teas and coffees.

Vintage, Classic, American & Custom Car Show 2016, St Mawgan, Newquay
Cornwall Festival of Motoring is a vintage, classic, American and custom car show organised by the Rover Enthusiasts South West group.
In 2016 the Cornwall Festival of Motoring will be held at Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre, just outside Newquay. All proceeds from the day go to The Cornwall Air Ambulance.
Sunday 5 June 2016. 10am to 4pm. Plenty of on-site free parking.
Cornwall Wildlife Trust, with Newquay Marine Group, invite you to join them on Towan Head, Newquay to look for cetaceans (that’s sea life to you and me! Whales, dolphins, and porpoises). Â 11am to 1pm. Free event.Â
Newquay Funfair May 2016, Newquay
The funfair is in Newquay at the Circus field.  Daily from 2pm until Sunday 5 June 2016. Â
Free entry – just pay for rides – all rides £1.50.

Fistral Beach Clean & BBQ, Newquay
This Sunday, why not come and help to clear up Fistral Beach, then enjoy a tasty BBQ!  This event is in support of Environment Day.
Hot BBQ provided, you just have to bring your own food to cook on it.Â
