The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Open Studios Cornwall is an annual event, now in its 13th year, with 293 craftspeople and designers across Cornwall opening the doors of their studios to the public for nine days. Four Newquay Open Studios include:

Open Studio Dates: Sat 27 May to Sun 4 Jun (closed Thu 1 Jun). 11am to 5pm. - Georgina Cominos, Ceramics. Near Mawgan Porth. TR8 4EU.
Open Studio Dates: Wed 31st May, Thu 1st Jun, Fri 2nd Jun, Sat 3rd Jun, Sun 4th Jun - Tom Henderson Smith, Drawing & Painting. St Columb Major, TR9 6BY.
Open Studio Dates: Every day Sat 27 May to 4 June. 10 am – 1pm and 3 – 5pm except for Sundays 3 – 5pm.

St Agnes Victorian Fayre 2017,
Bolster the Giant, street parades, entertainment, stalls, hog roast and more at the annual St Agnes Victorian Fayre, Monday May Bank Holiday 2017. Â Victorian fancy dress, with competition judged at 12.30pm at the Vicarage. Â Parade, lead by Giant Bolster, starts at 12.45pm.
Organised by the Rotary Club, this event is a fundraiser for local charities.
