The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Newquay Zoo Beach Clean at Porth Beach,
This is the first Beach Clean organised by Newquay Zoo at Porth Beach.
This is a free event, with the chance to help the environment and learn more about local species, biodiversity and the shores around Newquay. Â After the beach clean up there’s fun and games with the Lemur longjump, sandcastle building, competitions and beach games with prizes.
The beach clean is open to all ages.
Win a penguin feeding experience for two (over 10s only).

Newquay Summer Finale 2017, Newquay
Free Event! Join in the last big bash of the summer as Newquay BID and Newquay Council are putting on a free family event on the Killacourt.
Lots to see and do, including free animal encounters from Newquay Zoo, free face painting, free children’s fairground rides and a free under cover Silent Disco for children. At noon, Newquay BID’s Mascot will have a dance off.
BBQ, food, refreshments, entertainment and more.

Mitchell Car Boot Sales, Saturdays, 2017,
Mitchell Car Boot Sales are held at Trethvas Farm on Saturdays from 12 noon. 
These car boot sales are organised by Cornwall Car Boots and not by Trethvas Farm, who only rent the field for the car boot sales.
