The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Cornish Birds of Prey Easter Weekend Grand Opening 2018, St Columb
Attend the Grand Opening of the Cornwall Birds of Prey Centre over the full four day weekend of Easter. Â From Friday 30 March 2018 to Monday 2 April 2018 inclusive, 10am to 5pm
Easter Sunday only: Easter Egg Hunt. Find the egg clues hidden around the Centre to claim your reward. £2 entry, open to children aged up to 16.
- Amazing Flying Displays – watch the stars of the Centre put through their paces. See how birds of prey and owls perform in flight to hunt and catch their prey.
- Bouncy Castle – keep the kids entertained and get rid of some of that energy.
- Caricatures – first 60 paying visitors get a family caricature for free from Cassie of Cornwall Caricatures.
- Free Drinks – Free tea and coffee for all adults.
- Free Kids Crafts – On Easter Sunday, 1 April, and Easter Monday, 2 April only.
Flying displays daily at 11:30am and 2pm, indoors if wet.

DairyLand Newquay Easter Egg Hunt 2018,
From Good Friday, 30 March 2018 to Easter Monday, 2 April 2018, Dairyland Newquay are having an Easter Egg Hunt.
- An eggstravaganza of Easter crafts in the egg workshop.
- Boris and Dazy’s Famous Easter egg hunt for chocolate treats.
- Find the hidden Easter chicks exploring the park on the Dairyland Easter trail: something for the whole family.

Easter Egg Hunt 2018, Newquay BID, Newquay
Every day between Saturday 24 March 2018 and Saturday 14 April 2018 you can take part in the Newquay BID Easter Egg Hunt of 2018.
Simply visit the Newquay Tourist Information Centre at Marcus Hill, Newquay, TR7 1BD and collect your Clue Sheet. Â Help the Easter Bunny find the missing Easter eggs –Â solve the clues and claim your Easter treat!
This is a self-guided Easter Egg hunt where you follow the clues and return to the Tourist Information Centre with your completed sheet to receive your treat, so check the opening/closing times of the office before you set out to ensure you get your prize!
Newquay BID is the Newquay Business Improvement District organisation, run by local businesses to bring great events to the town throughout the year.
The Newquay Tourist Information Centre is open 7 days a week during normal office hours.

Fistral Monthly Beach Clean 2018, Newquay
Come and help to give Fistral Beach a good clean up, removing anything that’s considered rubbish from the beaches on the last Saturday of the month.
Working with Cornwall County Council and other interested organisations the Fistral beach clean up has been running successfully for several years and there’s always an enthusiastic turn out.
Lappa Valley Easter Weekend Fun 2018, Newquay
On all four days over the Easter weekend 2018, Lappa Valley are providing Easter Themed extras within the admission price. There’s an Easter Egg hunt, a colouring competition, duck racing – and the Easter Bunny is driving one of the trains!
The Ticket Office opens at 10am and the first train departs at 10:40am.

St Columb Minor Church Table Top Sales 2018, St Columb Minor, Newquay
There’s a table top sale at the Church Hall of St Columb Minor Church – stalls, crafts, bric a brac, refreshments and more. Come along to browse, have a drink and a chat, or hire a table yourself!
Plenty of free on site parking, the church hall is behind the church.

National Trust & Trerice - Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Trerice, Newquay, Newquay
Running every day from Friday 30 March 2018 until Sunday 8 April 2018, the National Trust Trerice Manor is holding a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt.
Follow Bunny’s clues around the garden at Trerice and finish your adventure with a Cadbury treat at the end.
Cost: £2 + normal admission prices.

St Mawgan Easter Fair 2018, Newquay
The St Mawgan Easter Fair is on Saturday 31 March 2018 from 11am to 1pm at Trevarrian Holiday Park for the St Mawgan Preschool and St Mawgan in Pydar School.
There’s a variety of stalls, raffles, cakes for sale, crafts, a bouncy castle and more. Easter Hunt, Easter Bonnet Competition and a Silent Auction.
