This is a free to watch event on Watergate Bay.
Locals Only To Play (see below): You can play as an individual (£5), or register as a team (£30). But watching is free.
The idea of the tournament is to gain interest in Handball in order to promote and grow the sport in Cornwall. It’s a fantastic sport and the beach is an ideal place to start. So if you are Cornwall based, get a team together and give it a go!
If enough teams enter, there is the potential of running a national version in September, so at the risk of sounding like The League of Gentlemen, if you’re not local.… sorry, but you’re free to watch!
Ideal teams have 6-8 members.
After the qualifying rounds, there’s a 30 minute break, during which time anybody can have a go at beating the NHC’s Number One in a Penalty Competition – £1 to enter, funds to go to the Children’s Hospice South West.
Start Time: 12.30pm for contestants, 1pm for the competition.
