Active competitors are sought for Clash of the Paddle – a 2-day weekend event of sup surf racing at Fistral Beach, with a series of short, fast, intense races. 
This is a rare chance to race stand up in the surf at Fistral Beach, Newquay.
Free event to watch. Entry fees to take part are ~£22-£40.
SUP Races Include:
- Surf Sprints
- Monsters of SUP race
- Relays
- And of course, the ultimate surf race – the Clash of the Paddle.
Racers will compete in either the pro fleet (12’6/14′) or the cruiser fleet, plus there will also be Monsters of SUP fleet for the ultimate team distruction derby in the surf. Pro fleet racers also get entry to the gruelling surf sprint survivor race, culminating in an epic paddler-on-paddler race to the finish!
The tides are neap for this weekend so the action will be close to the shore and right under the noses of the amassed spectators on Fistral Beach, especially with the final sprint up the sand to the finish!
