Free to watch, the annual Crantock Bale Push will be on the evening of Friday 8 September 2017, starting at 5pm prompt! The BIG Bale Push takes place on the second Friday in September every year raising huge amounts of money for charity.
Parking is provided outside of the village and is well signposted, with a 1/4 mile walk to the village centre, or catch the bus!
You need a team of four to enter. Register before the event by contacting the Bale Push Organisers, or register on the day at the start line. The event requires teams to push a real straw bale round the village. The bale is 4’6″ high and weighs 420 lbs.
Age Groups: 8 & Under, 12 & Under, 16 & Under, Ladies, 180’s [combined ages]
The event is free to attend and watch. All an additional 30+ minutes to arrive at the venue as there may be queues on the roads and there’s a 1/4 mile walk into the village.
Food will be available in the local pubs as well as live folk/rock music with “Black Friday” at the Old Albion Inn.
The Bale Push starts at 5.30pm for kiddies, adults’ Bale Push starts at 8pm and live music in the local pub afterwards!
