Bedruthan Hotel, at Mawgan Porth, are hosting a foraging walk – this is a guided wild food walk, starting and finishing at Bedruthan Hotel (where there is free parking). Cornish samphire, foraging walk

The foraging walk is a 2-3 hour round trip of the local woodlands and coastline. This foraging walk is longer than the foraging walks held in March and April and ends with a short interactive cookery demo, learning how to make a three course wild meal in the hotel kitchen. There will also be an insight into preserving wild food and tasters of home made wild preserves.

You will be able to identify a variety of different edible wild plants, including seaweed on the beach. The guide, who is an expert forager, will give you tips on how to pick, prepare and use this wild food.

Foragers also receive a copy of a free foragers guide.

Foraging Walk starts at 10am.
Cost: £25 to non-residents; £12 to residents of the Bedruthan Hotel.
