St Piran’s Day Celebrations at Newquay

St Piran is the patron saint of Cornwall and Newquay’s St Piran’s Day Celebrations are centred around three different venues and there’s a parade/procession:

  • 3pm: Crowds are invited to gather around South Quay, Newquay Harbour, for songs and music.
  • 4pm: The St Piran’s Day Parade starts at Beachfield Avenue Park, then proceeds along Gover Lane, Bank Street and into Trebarwith Crescent to Killacourt.  The procession includes local bands, community groups and schools. There will also be entertainment at Central Square.
  • 4.30pm: The Parade gathers at Killacourt where Newquay Male Voice Choir and schools will provide musical entertainment.
