If you’re looking for days out in Cornwall in April, then below is an outline list of events that always occur, or might occur. While this website focusses mostly on Newquay there are a lot of Cornish Festivals, celebrations and events going on in the county – some of which have had fixed dates for hundreds of years and some of which are harder to track down and find out the dates, or are recent additions to the Cornish Events calendar. But here’s an outline list of what is on and what might be on!

Legends of the Bay – Newquay – British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) and the British Stand Up Paddlesurf Association (BSUPA). Watergate Bay, Newquay. Saturday/Sunday 18-19 April 2015.
Boscastle Walking Week. 18-24 April 2015. a range of walks and activities with local guides in the beautiful, unspoilt coastal village of Boscastle and its surrounding area. Walks approximately £5/person.
Camborne Trevithick Day. A one day festival of free entertainment to celebrate the industrial heritage of the Camborne Area and Richard Trevithick (1771-1833). Saturday 25 April 2015. Free.
Porthleven Food Festival. A 3-day food Festival Friday-Sunday. 24-26 April 2015. Free.
