Griffin Inn Carvery, Newquay, Cornwall

If you love a carvery and want to find a pub offering carvery meals in Newquay, the Griffin Inn offers a good range every day of the week. There’s always a blackboard right outside the door advertising the carvery and the opening times.

The Griffin Carvery, Newquay, is serving meals from 6pm to 9.30pm during the week and additionally from 12pm to 3pm on Sundays. They offer three choices of meat with every sitting. There will always be roast beef and cooked ham on offer, with a third meat which will be either roast lamb or roast chicken.

The help yourself to vegetables servery offers a good selection of vegetables that are sourced from local Cornish suppliers – I’m a big fan of roast potatoes! Griffin Inn Carvery Newquay

For vegetarians, there is a nut roast, or you can choose to have an empty plate that you fill yourself from the servery bar. Vegetarians are also asked if they want to have a vegetarian gravy, which is made on demand.

Apart from carvery meals, the Griffin serves from a regular menu – but I’m a carvery fan 🙂

I’ve eaten here a few times and can recommend it. Not many pubs serve a carvery on weekdays, so it’s always nice to see! There’s also free Wifi.
