The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Run to the Sun, RTTS (£), Newquay
Since this car-based festival started in 1987, Run to the Sun has grown larger and larger each year. Run to the Sun has now grown into one of the largest Custom Car, VW and dance festivals in Europe.
Held at Trevelgue Holiday Park, just 2 miles outside of Newquay, you can book a caravan, or camping pitch. Buses are laid on to/from Trevelgue and into Newquay until 3am.
Newquay Business Breakfast Club (£), Newquay
The Newquay Business Breakfast Club is held early every Friday morning at the Lewinnick Lodge, Pentire Headland, Newquay. Running from 7.30-9am, it gives business owners the perfect opportunity to meet with other local business owners over an enjoyable breakfast. Ideal for business networking opportunities!

While the event is well attended, you should always check prior to arriving that the Newquay Business Breakfast Club is running on the day you want to attend. All business owners are welcome.
South Fistral Beach Cleanup , Newquay
On the last Saturday of the month, there’s a beach cleanup. Everybody welcome.
Start Point: Bodhi’s Café, South Fistral Beach
Start Time: 10:00
End Time: 11:15
Beach cleaning kit is handed out to volunteers. Children/dogs welcome.
