The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
St Columb Major Food & Craft Community Market, St Columb Major
Held ten times a year, on the 2nd Saturday of the month except in January and June, the St Columb Major Food and Craft Community Market offers a cafe, local produce and a craft table to keep kids busy and occupied.
Newquay Carnival Week: Saturday 11 July 2015, Newquay
Newquay Lions’ annual Newquay Carnival Week 2015 is from 4 July 2015 to 11 July 2015.
There are various events across the week, organised and run, or co-ordinated by the Newquay Lions group, raising money for local charities. Events vary between free and small charges, as applicable.
Saturday 11 July – Killacourt: Inflatables all day long
Saturday 11 July – Victoria Hotel: Mascot race, 5.30pm
Saturday 11 July – Newquay Carnival Parade: Starts 6pm at Barrowfields, Narrowcliff
