The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.

Fistral Beach Clean Up (Monthly) 2016, Newquay
Every month, every year, an enthusiastic group of volunteers meet up for two hours and give Fistral Beach a good clean up, removing anything that’s considered rubbish from the beaches on the last Saturday of the month.
Working with Cornwall County Council and other interested organisations the Fistral beach clean up has been running successfully for several years and there’s always an enthusiastic turn out.
Free Halloween Party, Newquay
The Cornishman at Crantock are putting on a Mini Monsters Halloween Party from 5.45pm to 7pm on Saturday 29 October.
Bring your mini monsters along for Halloween games, prizes, dancing, mini disco, fancy dress and pumpkin carving competition (bring your ready-done pumpkins along for judging)
We give out so many sweets make sure you bring your Halloween buckets and bags to collect all your goodies 🙂
