The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Electric Beach Festival 2017, Newquay
The Electric Beach Festival 2017 will be held on Great Western Beach, Newquay, from 17 June 2017, a change of venues from previous years.
Great Western Beach is across the road from Newquay Station – the two closest hotels to Great Western Beach are the Newquay Travel Lodge and Great Western Hotel, both a few yards from the action.
Tickets are in the range of £30-40 for weekend tickets.

Mitchell Car Boot Sales, Saturdays, 2017,
Mitchell Car Boot Sales are held at Trethvas Farm on Saturdays from 12 noon. 
These car boot sales are organised by Cornwall Car Boots and not by Trethvas Farm, who only rent the field for the car boot sales.
Night Surf 2017, Fistral Beach, Newquay, Newquay
On Friday 16 June and Saturday 17 June 2017 there will be a Night Surf 2017 surfing contest at Fistral Beach. Â This is the only Night Surf contest in the UK.
