Bedruthan Hotel, at Mawgan Porth, are hosting a foraging walk – this is a guided wild food walk, starting and finishing at Bedruthan Hotel (where there is free parking).

The foraging walk is a 1-2 hour round trip of the local area, browsing the edges of the coastal footpath, hedgerows, Mawgan Porth beach and the sand dunes.

You will usually be able to identify at least 10 different edible wild plants and the guide, who is an expert forager, will give you tips on how to pick, prepare and use this wild food.

Foragers also receive a copy of a free foragers guide.

Foraging Walk starts at 10am.
Cost: £5 to non-residents; free to residents of the Bedruthan Hotel.

There will be another foraging walk in May 2014.
