Saturday 13th: Pirate games at the Buccaneer Bay 12-3pm. Fun Run 5.30pm, Starting at the Bristol Hotel. Mascot race 5.45pm, Starting at Hotel Victoria. Carnival Procession Route, the Carnival finale procession starts on Saturday night at 6pm at the Bristol Hotel and proceeds through town to Sainsburys.
The all new Newquay Carnival Week, 2013, is bigger and better than previous years. Organised by Newquay Lions Club the Carnival Week events start on July 6 and run for a full eight days, finishing on 13th July with the highlight: The Newquay Lions Carnival Procession
Events through the week include: Festival on Killacourt, Pirate games at the Buccaneer Bay, Carnival Service St Michael’s Church, beach activities, Brain of Newquay Quiz, Beach day at Porth, Organ recital, Family entertainment and picnic, Barrel Roll, Hydrotherapy Pool Coffee Morning, Pirate treasure hunt, Cream tea and Olan Gwella singers, Pasty eating Guinness Book of Records competition, Morris dancing, Line dancing, Community Picnic, Hog roast, Evening Fun Run, Mascot race, Finale Procession.
All these events are at different times and in different locations and includes some free events and some ticketed events.
