Newquay Xmas Lights Switch On 2010
This year it’s Olympic, World and British swimming record holders from Newquay Cormorants Swimming Club who will be flicking the switch and turning the Newquay Xmas lights on. Jonathon Fox, Ben Procter and Matt Whorwood will do the honours, assisted by Newquay Town Mayor, Mrs Jill Bunt.
Newquay Xmas Lights Switch On occurs at 7pm, so be there at 6.45pm. It’s on the corner of Station Approach… so, opposite Aldi and beside Burger King and you can’t miss it.
Turning on the Xmas Lights marks the start of the Newquay Xmas Parade which follows a route to the Harbour, where there’ll be a firework display.
