Surf lessons for one-to-one and couples classes, beginners and improvers. All equipment is provided and the minimum age limit is 8 years old.
Half day lessons cost £30 and last 2.5 hours. Book five surf lessons for £105.
Private surf lessons are for 2.5 hours at £65, you'll receive a one-to-one coaching session with their head BSA qualified instructor. Book for a couple (any or no relation) and pay just £80 for two to have a private lesson.
Stag Dos and Hen parties can book a group session - and accommodation can be arranged with local accommodation providers.

The club run events in sprinting, tours and hillclimbs. Newquay Auto Club was first started in 1914 and is based at Newquay with an aim to promote motor sport throughout Cornwall and the South West.

Newquay Activity Centre, based on Headland Road, Newquay (which leads to Fistral Beach), specialise in surf lessons, and additionally offer bodyboarding, coasteering and surf hire. Open all year round.
There's a huge variety of activity packages including fishing, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, beach volleyball, cheerleading and burlesque, sea safari snorkelling, beach barbecues, windsurfing, stand up paddle surfing, massage and pampering sessions.
These experiences are offered to individuals, or groups and are suitable for individuals, families, stag dos, hen parties, kids and military groups.
One surf lesson costs £30, or book a block of 7 lessons for £105. Sunday Specials are priced at £25 and a weekend-long special of four surf lessons for just £99. Family packages from £119. There are group discounts and if your group is 26+ people then a surf lesson costs just £18/person.

Newquay Rowing Club was first set up in 1921 and has a modern Clubhouse at Newquay Harbour. They own what is believed to be the oldest Pilot Gig traditional rowing boat that is still in regular use, called "The Newquay", the wooden gig was built in 1812.
Newquay Rowing Club has an active social scene and fixtures diary, being the hosts of the annual County Gig Championships since they came up with the idea in 1969.
There are races every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the rowing season held in Newquay Bay all starting at 7pm around a triangular course, starting and ending at the Harbour.
The Club runs weekly sessions for new and novice rowers, usually on a Monday night between mid-May until September. You are invited to come down and try the sport (weather permitting). These sessions are run by experienced coxswains and rowers helping you to learn the basics and progress your rowing ability at your own pace.
All equipment is provided, just wear suitable training clothes (shorts, T-shirt, vest, tracksuit bottoms etc) and footwear you don't mind getting wet (old trainers, sandals etc). There is a charge of just £3 per session, which goes towards the upkeep of the gigs and equipment.

Newquay Golf Club was started in 1890 and is based on Tower Road, Newquay in the white building that looks like mini castle, the tower dates back to 1835.
The Club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2015. This is a golf club with sea views - as well as having a bar area and restaurant.
The offices are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

1-2 hour group rides, horse riding lessons and general rides. Pony trekking, 1 hour beach treks, hack rides (must be experienced) 2 hour rides. Pub rides for experienced riders.

One hour trek £25 - a ride for beginners or nervous riders; walking only
One hour hack £25 - for intermediate riders. Riders must be able to do rising trot and be in control of the horse
Two hours long ride £50 - for advanced riders only. Rider must be able to canter and be in full control of the horse

Opening in 1974, Newquay Indoor Bowling Club is well established and holds a high-achieving track record in national championships.
The bowls centre is a separate building in the grounds of Newquay Sports Centre.
The club welcomes anybody wanting to give bowls a try, before joining.
Visiting bowlers and holidaymakers are very welcome to take advantage of the facilities for a moderate rink fee.

The Newquay Ladies' Lifeboat Guild organise fundraising events for the RNLI. Based at the Lifeboat Station building at Newquay Harbour.
If you want to help to join the Guild and help to raise funds for the RNLI, or to donate goods, pop in to the Lifeboat Station next time you're passing and make enquiries.
The Guild has been continuously operating since 1966, although it did operate prior to this date with some gaps.
