Cornwall Surf Academy caters for families, groups, hen parties, stag groups - and are a great Birthday Party Venue. As well as surf lessons, they offer coasteering sessions. Based at the Aquasurf Lodge, accommodation is available or you can make your own arrangements and just turn up for the lessons.
Morning sessions start at 10am; afternoon sessions start at 2pm. Lessons last 2.5-3 hours. The Surf Academy offers half day and full day surf lessons, plus a variety of packages up to a 5 day course giving you a lesson each morning and includes board hire for the rest of the day.
The surf academy is based at Holywell Bay Holiday Park, but surfing lessons are run from Towan Beach, Newquay - if the surf and waves are better for lessons on Fistral or Great Western Beach then the lessons will be held there instead.
All surf instructors have British Surfing Association qualifications or International equivalents. Each Surf coach is also a qualified beach lifeguard

Dairyland Farmworld is an animal attraction, just outside of Newquay. It's directly on the main road between Newquay and St Austell and is well sign-posted.
Seasonal Maize Maze: There is a maize maze available, but this is a seasonal activity as it's made from real, growing, maize.

Based at Mawgan Porth for over 11 years, King Surf offers a great surf lesson experience on a quieter beach.
Surf lessons for one-to-one and couples classes, beginners and improvers. All equipment is provided and the minimum age limit is 8 years old.
Half day lessons cost £30 and last 2.5 hours. Book five surf lessons for £105.
Private surf lessons are for 2.5 hours at £65, you'll receive a one-to-one coaching session with their head BSA qualified instructor. Book for a couple (any or no relation) and pay just £80 for two to have a private lesson.
Stag Dos and Hen parties can book a group session - and accommodation can be arranged with local accommodation providers.

In season you can Pick Your Own (PYO) fruit at Mitchell Fruit Garden, situated in the middle of Cornwall, just off the A30. You can pick your own seasonal fruit and strawberries from June to September.
PYO availability and opening hours depends from year to year on the crop and the weather, so call ahead first.
You can pick your own gooseberries, tayberries, raspberries, red currants, black currants and strawberries at Mitchell Fruit Garden, or simply buy from their on-site local produce shop. All sales are CASH ONLY. No debit cards or credit cards can be accepted.
