Come Rambling

The NEWQUAY Ramblers are hosting two Come Rambling walks this weekend, 25-26 February 2012.

On Saturday 25 February, there’s a ramble around the lanes close to Trerice; meeting at the National Trust car park at 11am, this is a 3-mile walk lasting around 90 minutes.

On Sunday 26 February there will be an 8-mile walk from Trelissick Gardens National Trust car park, starting at 10.30am.

This woodland walk is a little more strenuous and is expected to last about five hours.

For more information contact 01637 874316 for Saturday’s event and 01872 222367 for Sunday’s.

Free Car Parking

Remember, if you are a National Trust member, you get free car parking at National Trust Car Parks. There are just under 70 free car parks for National Trust members along the coastline of Cornwall, meaning a National Trust membership can easily pay for itself over the year.

Newquay Ramblers are an active Rambling group, part of the Cornwall Ramblers group, with a variety of easy and hard walks around the Newquay area as well as venturing further afield to other regions of Cornwall on a regular basis. There is also a Restormel Ramblers group, which covers the Newquay area.
