The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Weekly Table Top Sale, St Columb Minor, TR7, St Columb Minor
Every Sunday there’s a table top sale from 8:15am to 12 noon at the Memorial Hall, Church Street, St Columb Minor. 
Local produce, local crafts and producers and refreshments available.
Nature Photography at Bedruthan Steps,
Cornwall Wildlife Trust are organising a Nature Photography day at Bedruthan Steps on Sunday 17 May 2015. Bedruthan Steps is about 7 miles from Newquay, on the coast road to Padstow, just beyond Watergate Bay.
You will be photographing birds, flowers and the sea views with David Chapman. Running from 10am to 3pm, the cost is just a £2 donation plus the cost of your parking (NT members park free).

Cornwall Air Ambulance are holding their annual plant sale on Sunday 17 May 2015.
Cornwall X Factor Auditions 2015, Truro
The Cornwall X Factor mobile auditions will be held in Truro. This is the only Cornwall venue. No need to book, just turn up with ID and queue for your turn.
First come, first served – so get there early or you might have the door to fame and riches shut in your face!
